Sidewalk Closure – 3800 Block of Altama Ave – February 25, 2021

Sidewalk Closure Notification

In order to perform sewer service repairs in the area, the sidewalk on the west side of the 3800 block of Altama Ave will be closed to pedestrian traffic.  The sidewalk closure will begin at or about 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25 and last until no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021. Roadway traffic will not be affected as the work will be performed outside the roadway, but drivers are encouraged to drive with care.

This work is required due to the need to raise a manhole buried approximately six feet below grade in order to accommodate any future access to the gravity sewer system adjacent to the property. Sewer service to the area is not expected to be impacted during the construction.
