The Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water Sewer Commission, NPDES Permit GA0025313, in accordance with permit requirements, makes public notice of a sanitary sewer overflow that occurred on Monday, November 7, 2022.

Location of Spill: 11 Bishop Lane Brunswick, Georgia 31525

Cause of Spill: Materials failure of the 16″ force main serving sewer basin 4028.

Estimated Volume: 42,264 gallons

Receiving Stream: Hog Crawl Creek

Corrective Actions Taken: Repaired broken sections of pipe.
