Saint Simons Island: To perform sanitary sewer force main upgrades needed to increase reliability of the existing infrastructure, including replacement of 1,000 feet of 10” cast iron pipe with C-900 PVC pipe, commuters of Arnold Road will experience daily temporary lane closures between East Peachtree and Demere Road. The road closure will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14th, and last until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18th. Homeowner/business access will be maintained but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.
