Irrigation Meter Installation

If you typically irrigate your lawn using water provided by the BGJWSC, you may be aware that the sewer portion of the bill is based on how much water flows through the meter. To avoid that added expense, some customers choose to install a well. It may be more cost effective or provide higher quality water to pay for the installation of a separate meter dedicated to your irrigation system. In addition to what you would pay a plumber or irrigation system contractor, the following upfront costs would apply:

5/8″ Meter: $1,700
1″ Meter: $3,150

Other meter sizes are available upon request.
