Effective immediately, as of 3:20 PM on Tuesday February 12, 2019, all required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory issued for Bldg 142 & 150 of Shadow Brook Village on the Saint Simons Island water system have passed. Results have been verified by our state-licensed technician within a certified laboratory environment.

Emergency Lane Closure – Gloucester Street from Wolfe to Norwich – Friday, February 1, 2019
An emergency lane closure will be necessary on Gloucester Street from Wolfe Street to Norwich Street from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm today, Friday, February 1, 2019, to enable staff to make repairs to the water main located under the street. Natural causes resulted in the failure of the connection between a 12” and 16” ductile iron main.
Access to impacted addresses will be maintained but all others should take another route to avoid delays.
