Water Outage in North Glynn County – April 2, 2015

In order to make an emergency repair of a valve in the water distribution system in the area of the Spur (Hwy 25) and Cate Rd in north Glynn County, water service will be unavailable from 12:00 a.m. midnight until 6:00 a.m. on April 2, 2105. This includes Perry Lane Rd from the Spur to Cate Rd and Hwy 341 north of Old Jesup Rd and surrounding areas. The BGJWSC apologizes in advance for the inconvenience.

As of 2:00 PM, Frederica Road on St. Simons Island, adjacent to Longview Plaza, is down to one lane with traffic control. Water service will be unavailable in the Glynn Haven area of St. Simons Island from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. today, March 19, 2015, for the repair of a 6″ main by BGJWSC staff. This will affect customers in the vicinity of Atlantic Ave, Third Ave, Palm St, Pine, Maple St, Palmetto St, Holly St and surrounding areas of Glynn Haven. Water Service Outage in Glynn Haven on St. Simons Island – March 18, 2015

Water service is presently unavailable in the Glynn Haven area of St. Simons Island. In the process of digging, a contractor has broken a 6” main in the vicinity of Atlantic Ave, Third Ave, Palm St, Pine, Maple St, Palmetto St, Holly St and surrounding areas of Glynn Haven on St. Simons Island. BGJWSC crews are onsite determining the extent of the damage and working on restoring service.
