Effective immediately, as of 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, all required microbiological testing of water samples from the area affected by the boil water advisory issued for Abbot Andrews Terrace in Brunswick on Monday, June 24, 2019 has passed. Executive Director Resignation Accepted by the JWSC
On Friday, May 3, 2019, Jimmy Junkin verbally expressed his desire to resign from the JWSC for personal reasons. A special called meeting was held today, Wednesday, May 8, in which members of the Board addressed the matter.
The Board voted to accept his resignation as Executive Director and engage him as a consultant to assist in the leadership transition. The Board also voted to name Deputy Executive Director, Andrew Burroughs, as Interim Executive Director.
