Canal Road Construction Update – May 13, 2016

In cooperation with Glynn County Board of Commissioners and contractors performing work in the area, the BGJWSC would like to provide the following update regarding future road closure on Canal Rd in Brunswick:

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga.- Contractors for the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission (JWSC) have been working to extend water and sewer along Canal Rd. in Brunswick since mid-April.  The overall scope of work is expected to continue through mid-September. As a part of this project, Canal Rd from Spur 25/Golden Isles Pkwy to Old Jesup Rd will be closed to through traffic from Wednesday, May 18th to the end of June.  Homeowner and local business access will be maintained, but all other traffic should be prepared to take another route.  For more information, contact the JWSC at (912) 261-7126.
