The Brunswick water system lost pressure on the distribution network serving Southern Landing subdivision due to a motor vehicle collision with a fire hydrant. Once service has been restored, BGJWSC lab personnel will collect water samples for testing. This testing, which takes between 18 and 24 hours, should be completed the morning of Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at which time an all-clear message will be posted.

In order to facilitate the repair of a fitting on a 10″ Transite water main, BGJWSC staff will isolate the distribution system on Mallery Street serving all customers north Kings Way and south of Harbour Oaks Drive and adjacent streets on St. Simons Island at or about 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
