Emergency Detour to Access the Exchange Club of Brunswick Fairgrounds

Update posted Friday, April 7th at 8:36 am: Our crews are on site today making an effort to resolve the issues by 5:00 pm today.

Due to an emergency sanitary sewer repair underway at the corner of Altama Ave and Emory Dawson Rd, all traffic en route to the fairgrounds or otherwise traveling on Altama Ave should be prepared to take another route to avoid delays.

Though the section of Emory Dawson between Altama Ave and the rear entrance of TitleMax Title Pawn is going to be blocked, those traveling to the fairgrounds can use the Coral Park Drive access road off of Cypress Mill Rd, adjacent to Fancy Q Restaurant and Bank of the Ozarks, across from Wake Up Coffee. Congestion is likely to build at the Altama Ave entrance to Cypress Mill Square for those attempting to access the fairgrounds via the Winn-Dixie shopping center.

Repairs will continue today until the detour has been removed.
