In order for BGJWSC staff to complete maintenance upgrades and main relocation as part of the Highway 17 road widening project, water service will be intermittently unavailable or in low pressure from at or about 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, for service connections along Hwy 17 between Harry Driggers Blvd and Jack Hartman Rd. Adjacent streets may also be impacted in order to isolate water mains during the repairs.

Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory may be issued until 24 hours following the last point of repair.  The planned isolation and controlled shutdown procedures may deem a precautionary boil water advisory unnecessary.
