In order to replace a fire hydrant that was damaged in a recent motor vehicle incident, water service will be intermittent beginning at or about 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 for service connections in the area of Gloucester Street from Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd to Johnston Street and adjacent connections. Repairs are expected to be completed by 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory may be issued until 24 hours following the last point of repair.
