PRESENT:                     Tom Boland, Commissioner

John Cason, Commissioner

Desiree Watson, Legal Counsel

ABSENT:                  Dale Provenzano, Chairman

ALSO PRESENT:   Don Elliott, Commissioner

Steve Swan, Executive Director

John Donaghy, Director of Administration

Barbara Rogers, JWSC Clerk

Commissioner Boland called the meeting to order in the absence of Chairman    Provenzano.

Approval:

1.  Minutes of the April 10, 2014 meeting, (subject to any necessary  changes).

Commissioner Cason made a motion seconded by Commissioner Boland to approve the minutes of the April 10, 2014 meeting.  Motion carried 2-0-0.

Discussion:

1.  Consider proposed changes to the City and County Ordinances to provide for a letter of credit

Mrs. Watson reviewed each of the proposed changes to the City and County Ordinances; to provide for landlord accounts for residential rental properties; to provide for letter of credit in lieu of cash deposit and the addition of language that the utility may require that service to tenants be furnished on the account of the landlords or property owners.

Commissioners discussed each of the proposed changes and suggested a policy be developed for implementation upon approval by the City and County of the Ordinance amendment.

Commissioner Boland made a motion seconded by Commissioner Cason to approve the item and move forward for full Commission action.  Motion carried 2-0-0.

There being no additional business to bring before the Committee the meeting was adjourned.
